Irrespective of whether this is your very first dive into the world of sports nutrition, or perhaps you are a weekly subscriber, there are always lots of unanswered questions.

It goes without saying that you can jump onto any of our social media platforms or visit the contact us tab at the bottom of the page, but perhaps some of our frequently asked questions can provide you with the answer you need.

Delivery

Delivery Information

England, Wales & Scotland

Standard Delivery

Is FREE on orders over £45 which will be delivered in 1-4 working days. Deliveries under £45 will be charged at £3.95

Express Delivery

Costs £5.95. If you order by 2pm Mon-Fri, we will send your parcel by Evri Express which will be delivered in 1-2 working days. A signature is required. Some parts of the U.K (e.g. Shetland Islands, Channel Islands) are not covered by express delivery, so please check and allow 3-4 working days instead.

When Evri delivery for you:

1. When Evri have received you parcel(s) they will email you with an expected delivery date.

2. Within this email are the options to leave with a neighbour, change the delivery date, choose a safe place, request a different delivery date or choose to have your parcel left at an Evri Parcel shop or locker.

3. On the morning of delivery an email will be sent with the 2 hour delivery time and this will also have the same options

4. If no one is home and there has been no instruction, the driver may leave the parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour.

5. If there is no safe place or neighbour then the driver will take the parcel back to the depot and delivery will be attempted 2 more times

EVRI APP

If you download the Evri app, you will also receive all the notifications on there and can track and manage you order and set preferences for all future deliveries from any company.

Northern Ireland 

We currently only able to offer deliveries to NOTHERN IRELAND. We are unable to deliver to EIRE.

Standard Delivery

Is £6.95 on all orders which will be delivered in 1-4 working days.

Channel Islands

Is £8.50 on all orders which will be delivered in 2-4 working days.

Returns & Refunds

Step 1

Write your name, order number and telephone number on a piece of paper. Be sure to complete all this relevant information. Please include the reason you are returning the item and whether you wish to be refunded or need a replacement item.

Step 2

Clearly label and pack your returned products to the following address:

Send the package using your choice of courier. We recommend you send your goods back via a recorded, special or proof of delivery service.

You are responsible for all postage and packing costs and these will not be refunded.

Guarantee terms and conditions:

  1. Refunds will be offered on a proportionate basis to reflect how much of the product has been used.
  2. Powdered products will be weighed on return to Maxishop to establish how much has been returned.
  3. If you take advantage of any multibuy offer or discount, you will be refunded according to the discount that was applied to the offer.
  4. Please allow at least 7 working days for your refund or exchange to be processed.
  5. If you take advantage of any offers on the same product, all tubs/bottles/bars (including empty containers) will need to be returned for a refund to be made. Please ensure that tamper evident seals on unused products are not broken (other than the one tried) as only the sealed products can be refunded in full.
  6. Refunds and exchanges can only be given for products received by us within 40 days from receipt of order and only if we have the original packaging and any remaining content returned to us. However, exchanges will not be further exchanged or refunded. Products that are out of date will not be refunded.
  7. We cannot be held responsible for lost returns, caused by your choice of carrier. We therefore recommend you send your goods back via a recorded, special or proof of delivery service.

Statutory Obligation

We also understand that you may want to cancel an order and in accordance with your statutory rights you have the option to withdraw from purchase within 7 working days from the day of the items delivery. Your statutory rights will not be affected.

We are so confident of our products’ effectiveness that we guarantee it. Just use the products as instructed on the label for 30 days, all the while maintaining a sensible training regime and a healthy diet. If you are not satisfied with the results, please send the goods back to us in the original packaging to us within 40 days, including your training and meal plans where we will review and determine if you qualify for a refund.

Discount Codes

Terms and Conditions for Discount Vouchers/Codes:

1. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of discount vouchers and emails with discount codes (both are referred to in these Terms as “Discount Codes”) organised and promoted by HNC Healthy Nutrition Company (UK) Limited (company number 11121748) whose registered office is at 2nd Floor, New Century House, Progress Way, Denton, Manchester, England, M34 2GP (referred to as “HNC” “we” “us” and “our”).

2. Discount Codes can be used on our website at www.maxinutrition.com (“Website”) towards the price (in GBP sterling) of our products by paying the excess using a credit/debit card.

3. Unless otherwise stated, a Discount Codes applies only against the full normal RRP of the product.

4. Unless otherwise stated, a Discount Code cannot be used in conjunction with already discounted Products, other promotional offers, product bundles, gift vouchers, MaxiSquad gifts, rewards or MaxiRewards.

5. Discount Codes cannot be claimed on transactions that we have already processed.

6. Discount Codes referred to as "value added stacks coupons" can only be used on MaxiNutrition products (£10 off £50 & £50 off £100).

7. Discount Codes cannot be exchanged for cash. No physical voucher is available.

8. Only one Discount Voucher per person.

9. Only one Discount Voucher can be redeemed per transaction.

10. Discount Codes must be used within 3 months of the date of issue or as otherwise specified from time to time for that specific Discount Code.

11. Some Discount Codes are for new customers only. We may ask a new customer for proof that they received an email with the new customer Discount Codes to ensure that they have not found the Discount Code on discount code website and if such proof is given, we will honour the Discount Code.

12. Our terms and conditions of sale apply to the purchase and refund of products purchased via our Website. If a product is returned, the amount of the refund will be limited to the amount paid by credit/debit card, the amount of the Discount Code will not be refunded.

13. If you use a Discount Code, any personal information we obtain will be collected and used in in accordance with data protection legislation. Further details on how we will process the personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

14. Discount Codes are not assignable, transferable, auctionable, sellable, traded and have no cash value.

15. Discount Codes are void if altered or reproduced (in whole or in part either by person or computer). Any such misuse may constitute a prosecutable offence.


16. We reserve the right to immediately suspend a transaction if we believe the customer is in breach of any of these Terms.

17. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time and to take any action we believe reasonably necessary which may include cancelling Discount Codes. This does not affect your legal rights.

18. We accept no liability for accidental loss, theft or destruction of any Discount Codes by the customer, nor will be responsible if a Discount Code is lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

19. We are not responsible for any failure to meet our obligations relating to Discount Codes which occur as a result of, but not limited to, acts of God, fire, flood, governmental intervention or disruption or breakdown of computer and IT infrastructures, including any loss, damage or delays as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

20. The Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and claims under these Terms may be brought in the English courts.

21. Other promotions

Multi-buy promotions apply as a "cheapest free" offer and they work across products within that promotional group and across flavours too. Buy one get one free and three for the price of two promotions are created by adding all the products to the basket as required and the cheapest product in that group is then applied free of charge.

Free products are offered from time-to-time as part of a promotion with regard to a customer's total order value. A higher order value often means that a product is offered with a higher perceived value but this may not be always be the case. We reserve the right to remove, cancel or change promotional free products at any time according to a customer's order value, stock availability or any other reason.

Terms and Conditions for Competitions:

1. This prize draw (“Competition”) is organised and promoted by HNC Healthy Nutrition Company (UK) Limited (company number 11121748) whose registered office is at 2nd Floor, New Century House, Progress Way, Denton, Manchester, England, M34 2GP (“we” “us” and “our”) and is subject to these terms and conditions (“Terms”) which are also available on our website at https://www.MaxiNutrition.com

3. The Competition is open to individuals over the age of 18 or clubs (where the Competition is a club competition) residing in England, Wales and Scotland, except:

3.1. our employees and the employees of our holding and subsidiary companies;
3.2. the employees of any agents or suppliers engaged by us or our holding or subsidiary companies in connection with the Competition or its administration; or
3.3. the members of the immediate families or households of the persons referred to in paragraphs 3.1 and 3.2 above.

4. To enter the Competition and get a chance to win the Prize, you need to register before the Closing Date for discount codes on Maxi products using our “Maxiteams” online discount platform. There is no entry fee and no purchase of any Maxi products is required to enter the Competition. All you need to do is register for our discount codes.

5. By submitting a Competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms.

6. In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.

7. We will not accept competition entries that are:
7.1. automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);
7.2. completed by third parties or in bulk;
7.3. illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
7.4. photocopies and not originals; or
7.5. incomplete.

8. There is a limit of one entry to the Competition per household/club (as the case may be). Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed except where a club enters a club competition on behalf of its club members.

9. We reserve all rights to disqualify you and any associated club from the Competition if your conduct is contrary to the fair play of the Competition or if we believe you are in breach of these Terms.

10. Competition entries cannot be returned.

11. We do not accept:

• responsibility for any inaccurate information provided when you register. It is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate information;
• responsibility for Competition entry which is mislaid, damaged, lost, regardless of cause, including as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind;
• proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Competition; or
• responsibility if you are not able to take up the Prize.

12. We reserve the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Competition, or declare it void, if it becomes necessary to do so.

13. The Prize is non-transferrable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is offered. We reserve the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.

14. The winner will be chosen by random draw and will be notified by email within 7 working days of the Closing Date. If the winner (whether an individual or a club) cannot be contacted and/or does not claim the Prize within 14 days of the notification, we reserve the right to draw another winner.

15. All winners must be 18 years of age or over.

16. Our decisions about the Competition are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

17. The winner will receive the Prize within [4 weeks] after we have notified the winner on a date to be arranged by us unless this is not possible due to circumstances beyond our control (in which case we will make reasonable alternative arrangements).

19. Where the Competition is a club competition, the name of the winning club can be obtained by sending an email to hello@maxinutrition.com within 30 days of the Closing Date. Details of the club members taking part in the Prize will not be provided.

20. Where the Competition is a club competition, the club shall use reasonable efforts to obtain the consent of the club members participating in the Competition to enable us to film and/or photographs of them, and to post these on our various social media platform, for publicity and promotional purposes.

21. We will use and protect any personal data collected by us in connection with the Competition in accordance with data protection legislation. We will keep such information until one month after the date on which the Prize takes place or is received. Further details on how we will process the personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

22. Insofar as is permitted by law, we will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winning individual or club (or club members) or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of participating in or receiving the Prize, except where it is caused by our negligence or the negligence or our employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

23. If we have any reason to believe that you have breached any of these Terms, we may, at our sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude an individual or club from participating in the Competition.

  • I am new to Sports Nutrition & Protein. Where do I start?

Put simply, the more you train, the more protein that your body needs. Supplementing your diet with high quality protein helps you to get the most from your exercise.

  • What is Protein and why do I need it?

    Protein makes up 40% of the human body (in the absence of water). Protein is needed by everyone and is an essential nutrient for the growth and maintenance of muscle tissue.

    Your body is in a constant state of protein turnover so it is important that you consume enough protein throughout the day to balance this out. If you are looking to develop your muscle or simply maintain it as part of active lifestyle, your requirement for protein intake increases.

  • When is best time to have Protein? And how much do I need?

    For healthy living, it is recommended you consume 0.8g of protein per kilogram of your bodyweight per day. However, exercise increases the demand on your body for more protein to achieve a balance and support your muscle maintenance and development following exercise.

    It is recommended that when you exercise, you increase your protein intake to 1-2g of protein per kilogram you weigh, per day. Ideally the best time to consume proteins is every 2-3 hours in your meals or as part of snack in between.

    After exercise, 20-30g of protein is recommended as the optimal dose of protein. Research has shown that this amount supports the development and growth of muscle tissue at this time, but you may wish to take more depending on your level of exercise, goal and weight.

  • What should I look for in a Protein supplement?

    Protein shakes, milks or bars are ideal for after training where it can help with muscle rebuilding, but can also be handy at any time of the day where you might be struggling to find a good quality convenient source of protein. Check your product has at least 20g of quality protein to support muscle development & growth.

  • Can I mix the products with milk?

    We normally recommend that you mix the powdered products with water. Why? Some people don't tolerate cow's milk well. Often, this is because they're deficient in an enzyme called lactase, which helps to break down the lactose (a type of sugar) in milk. Common symptoms include nausea, cramps, bloating, gas, and diarrhoea, which begin about 30 minutes to 2 hours after eating or drinking milk. You might find yourself constantly clearing your throat of phlegm and mucus. Often, you'll feel lethargic and tired. Very few people are allergic to casein (the protein found in milk). Common allergy symptoms are itchy skin, gastro-intestinal and respiratory problems.

    If, however, you do tolerate milk then go ahead and mix them with milk. Some people find that mixing the products with milk (e.g. cow's milk, soya milk, goat's milk, or rice milk) improves the taste. This will not reduce their strength or effectiveness in any way.
