    Informed Sport Accredited

Informed Sport is an independent, third party accreditation and globally recognised in sports nutrition quality control. Unlike "Informed Choice" used by other brands, "Informed Sport" is the highest level of screening and approval and the only global certification programme that tests every single batch of a product before it's released to market. This means that every batch of MaxWhey powder is screened for banned substances and impurities for added peace of mind.

    When to Use

For one serving, mix 30g of Max Whey (approx. 3 tablespoons) with 150-300ml of water in a MaxiNutrition shaker. Do not exceed 3 servings per day. Some may prefer to mix Max Whey with milk, but please bear in mind that this will slow protein digestion, not to mention the added calories.

    High Quality Whey Protein

For every flavour we have provide full transparency of the protein breakdown and the BCAA content as we feel that you deserve the very best, rather than hiding information within the ingredients list.

    Branched Chain Amino Acids

  • WHY CHOOSE

Why Should I Use Whey Protein Powder?

Protein is an essential nutrient for life, responsible for numerous functions, like supporting the building of tissue, cells and muscle. Muscle growth relies on adequate proteins being available. That means a balance between protein intake and protein breakdown; something scientists call protein balance. Proteins are made from a collection of up to 20 amino acids.

Protein sources are ranked based on their amino acid profile, biological value (BV) and digestibility. As measured through nitrogen balance, BV compares protein sources against a known constant - in this case egg, which has a score of 100, meaning that the protein in egg is efficiently utilised by the body, in the absence of excreted nitrogen.

For whey protein the BV is 104, ranking it as number 1. More recently, BV has been bolstered by using the digestibility of protein – the Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score (PDCAAS). Unlike BV, that makes an assumption on digestibility by using 'usability', PDCAAS uses the known amino acid reference score and corrects it with the true faecal digestibility. Once again, whey comes out with a top score of 1.0, as do all dairy based proteins.

Why Should I Use Max Whey Protein Powder?

MaxiNutrition is committed to innovating high protein products. A great product we believe should be in everyone's kitchen, is Max Whey. It's easily digested as it only contains natural flavours and colours.

It's high in protein as every serving contains 23g of whey protein (our unique blend of WPC and WPI). It's also low in sugar, fat and salt making MaxWhey a great companion to any choice of diets or anyone wanting to track their nutritional intake. MaxWhey naturally contains branched chain amino acids and Glutamic acid.

How to Get the Best Results From MaxWhey Protein Powder

Max Whey comes in convenient 420g, grab-able bag that fits perfectly in your gym bag to give you a convenient protein shake that is ideally taken after your work-out. It can also be used throughout the day to increase your protein intake. There are 16 servings in each pouch; taking two servings per day each bag will last over a week.

For one serving, mix three level scoops (30g) with 200-250ml of water in a Maxinutrition shaker. Do not exceed three servings per day. Some may prefer to mix Max Whey with milk, but please bear in mind that this will slow protein digestion, not to mention the added calories. You can make it as a shake, add it to food, cook with it. Whey might be considered more of a jack of all trades, but the big difference is that it's good at all, rather than the master of none.

  • What is Protein and why do I need it?

Protein makes up 40% of the human body (in the absence of water). Protein is needed by everyone and is an essential nutrient for the growth and maintenance of muscle tissue.

Your body is in a constant state of protein turnover so it is important that you consume enough protein throughout the day to balance this out. If you are looking to develop your muscle or simply maintain it as part of active lifestyle, your requirement for protein intake increases.

  • I am new to Sports Nutrition & Protein. Where do I start?

When you exercise you push yourself harder which means that your diet needs to work harder for you as well. If you’ve ever asked yourself ‘What is Protein?’ and felt silly, don’t. Lots of people fail to see that protein is a key part of every exercisers diet needed in order to nourish working muscles and help support the maintenance, growth & development of muscle following exercise. Put simply, the more you train, the more protein that your body needs. Supplementing your diet with high quality protein helps you to get the most from your exercise.

  • When is best time to have Protein? And how much do I need?

For healthy living, it is recommended you consume 0.8g of protein per kilogram of your bodyweight per day. However, exercise increases the demand on your body for more protein to achieve a balance and support your muscle maintenance and development following exercise.

It is recommended that when you exercise, you increase your protein intake to 1-2g of protein per kilogram you weigh, per day. Ideally the best time to consume proteins is every 2-3 hours in your meals or as part of snack in between.

After exercise, 20-30g of protein is recommended as the optimal dose of protein. Research has shown that this amount supports the development and growth of muscle tissue at this time, but you may wish to take more depending on your level of exercise, goal and weight.
